Wesson Builders’ composite decking requires far less maintenance than pressure-treated wood, so you have more time to enjoy your deck. Generally, wood fiber is combined with a polymer, such as low or high density polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, or polypropylene and molded into a plank, which can then be cut and screwed like wood to build your deck.

Composite decking does not absorb or give off moisture, so it doesnt shrink or weather like wood. It is impervious to extremes of weather and destructive ultraviolet rays and is resistant to insects. In addition, it never needs painting or staining — just scrub it once or twice a year, and you’re done. In addition, your composite deck will far outlast a traditional wood deck.

Our composite decking features Strandex technology, which adds to its strength and durability. Much like a rope, where smaller strands are braided together to make it stronger, the wood fibers in our decking are encased in polymers.
